What We Do

From our venue in Beijing’s 798 Art District, Danish Cultural Center promotes cultural exchange and intercultural understanding between Danish and Chinese parties. In particular, we support projects targeting long-term cooperation between Chinese and Danish cultural institutions, artists and other creative professionals.

The building is basically destined to host exhibitions, conferences and talks, film screenings, and activities for children but it will also be the venue for live performances and workshops with both students and professionals from various industries and arts.

Our activities are however not confined to the venue in 798. An important amount of our resources is allocated to projects that take place with private and public stakeholders in other Chinese cities. Such activities will continue to be one of our assets and trademarks.
